About Course
The online course on Human Rights in Southeast Asia is based on textbook volume 1, 2, 3 developed and produced by the ASEAN University Network-Human Rights Education (AUN-HRE) in cooperation with the Strengthening Human Rights and Peace Research and Education in ASEAN/Southeast Asia (SHAPE-SEA). This human rights online course consists of 13 modules covering a wide range of issues, from fundamental of human rights, national and regional protection mechanisms, to the rights of specific groups, including the rights of women, children, persons with disabilities, migrant workers, indigenous and minority rights, refugee, statelessness. It also covers critical and cross cutting issues of human rights and environment, right to development, and business and human rights. This Online Course on Human Rights in Southeast Asia was produced by ASEAN University Network – Human Rights Education (AUN-HRE), and sponsored by ASEAN Cyber University (ACU), the Republic of Korea (ROK).
